Preparing for your dryer vent cleaning and air duct cleaning

Patricks PowerVac LLC Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning services

Parking

In order to haul our duct cleaning equipment we have a large box truck. Please ensure that you have parking available for us. Sometimes this takes planning. If we are unable to find adequate parking your appointment may need to be canceled and or rescheduled.

Adequate Space

In order to effectively clean your ducts we need to be able to access each register, return and your furnace. Inability to access registers or returns may result in the system not being as clean or dust exiting system from uncovered registers. We ask that the customer move all valuable items away from registers, returns and furnace prior to duct cleaning appointment. For the safety of our technicians we ask that you have the ability to access each register with surrounding items no higher than hip level. Our technicians may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment if they are unable to access system effectively and safely.

Animals

Technicians will need to leave doors and/or window open to bring equipment into your home. To ensure no animals escape we ask that you contain all indoor animals into a carrier or kennel while technicians are working in the home. Technicians will not be held liable if an animal is lost during the duct cleaning process due to them not being contained. Animals that are sensitive to noise or dust should be contained in an area away from the system being cleaned.

Noise

Duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning can be loud. We use a gas powered vacuum and air compressor. There is significant noise in the area where the equipment is located. There is also noise from compressed air and air whips moving airborne particulate through the system.
